The ST-292 room controller is designed to control a heating device (e.g., gas, oil, electric boiler, or boiler controller). This controller is intended to maintain the set temperature in the room by sending a signal to the heating device (contact opening) to indicate that the room has reached the required temperature.

OPTIMUM START Function

This function allows intelligent control of the heating device, increasing efficiency and providing better thermal comfort. The room controller, by learning, will automatically determine the optimal boiler start time to achieve the desired thermal comfort, so that the room reaches the set temperature at the previously specified time.

HEATING/COOLING Function

This function allows control of devices used for heating as well as cooling, such as air conditioners. To configure the operation, select in the menu the function you want the controller to perform (heating or cooling).

FLOOR TEMPERATURE Sensor

When using an additional floor temperature sensor, the room controller will control the room temperature while taking the floor temperature into account (minimum and maximum floor temperatures must be set). Among other things, this helps prevent the floor from cooling down in well-sunlit rooms.
